This pendant lamp is from a 1960s production by the renowned Doria Werke, a company known for its high-quality glass finishing and innovative lighting designs. Founded in 1948 and active until 1986, Doria Werke received numerous design awards, including over 30 IF Design Awards since 1961. The company became especially famous for its modern, functional lighting that embraced the principles of Classical Modernism and the Bauhaus movement.

Model 3522 combines frosted opal glass with a glass reflector and is distinguished by its wide, uniform light distribution. The clean lines and thoughtful use of high-quality materials make this lamp an excellent example of well-considered postwar design.
