The body was, at the time typical partly black lacquered and combined with root wood veneers.
The Sideboard has been professionally restored and offers plenty of space inside for storage.

John Hagemann was the construction manager of the Mies van de Rohe Villa Tugendhat in Brno and operated as a furniture designer.

The Robert Slezak company was one of the leading tubular steel furniture manufacturers in Europe and owned licenses for the production of furniture designed by Marcel Breuer, Mart Stam and André Lurcat.
The offered piece has been professionally repainted by our restorers in a typical color of the time.
