This desk lamp is an original from the 1930s. It was produced by the Czechoslovak company Napako, known for lighting designs that reflect the principles of Bauhaus Modernism and the spirit of the Classic Modernist movement.
Its form is defined by a hemispherical shade and a cylindrical base made of nickel-plated metal. The lamp’s restrained geometry and material clarity express the functional approach characteristic of the period.
