Original Bauhaus tubular steel piano stool by Luckhardt brothers

The Bauhaus piano stool we offer comes from an early 1930s tubular steel furniture production by the Berlin company DESTA.

It was designed by renowned German designers and architects Hans and Wassili Luckhardt. The stool is in partially restored condition: the tubular steel frame was only polished in our workshop, while the original black-stained finish of the height-adjustable seat was professionally restored.

Hans and Wassili Luckhardt are among the most important figures of the German design avant-garde of the 1930s.
