UFO ceiling light by Josef Hurka for Napako – 1930s Bauhaus modernism

This UFO ceiling light by Josef Hurka for Napako combines a futuristic form with the clear lines of Bauhaus Modernism. Its distinctive porthole shape and the combination of nickel-plated metal and original sandblasted flat glass define its functionalist character.

Measuring 54 cm in diameter and 33 cm in length, this example is a more compact version of the design. Four E27 sockets provide light directed both downwards and towards the ceiling, creating balanced illumination throughout the room.

Dating from the 1930s, the light is in excellent condition.
