Original Bauhaus Avant-Garde Desk in Tubular Steel – One-Off Design, ca. 1934

This exceptional desk originates from the estate of a doctor in Hradec Králové, Czechoslovakia. It is a unique custom-made piece from the 1930s and was part of a complete Bauhaus-style interior.

Designed with a strong architectural sensibility, the desk reflects the functionalist ideals of early modernism. The chrome-plated tubular steel frame provides clarity and structural precision, while the black lacquered wood and integrated metal handles add a striking contrast. The drawer blocks are meticulously crafted and reflect the elevated standards of this bespoke piece.

The desk was carefully refurbished in our workshop and is in excellent condition – a powerful collector’s object with museum quality.
