desk in the style of Bauhaus Modernism – tubular steel & honey-toned beechwood

Elegant and functional desk in the spirit of Bauhaus Modernism, part of KADEMO’s own furniture edition.

The design follows the constructive clarity and formal restraint of the 1930s, combining a precise tubular steel structure with carefully crafted wooden elements. The frame and the characteristic cylindrical handles are high-quality new productions, executed using traditional techniques associated with early modern steel furniture. The metal surfaces are multi-layer galvanised, resulting in a calm and even finish.

The wooden components are made from solid, veneered beechwood cabinet panels, crafted in a traditional joinery approach. The surfaces are stained in a warm honey tone, lacquered and polished, allowing the natural grain of the wood to remain subtly visible. The drawers are clearly proportioned, smoothly guided and integrate seamlessly into the overall composition.

This desk was used as part of the set decoration for the fifth season of the television series Babylon Berlin (release planned for 2026).

As part of the KADEMO furniture edition, this desk can be individually adapted for new orders. Custom colours and alternative material options are available upon request.
