The “Rollador” by Belmet U.S.A. was patented in the late 1920s and combines several functions within a compact and movable design.
Chrome-plated metal surfaces and oxblood-red lacquered elements define the appearance of this unusual object. Its design combines the geometric vocabulary of American Art Deco with the technical aesthetics of early Machine Age and Streamline design.
In addition to the ashtray, the Rollador incorporates holders for cigars and cigarettes, a match holder and an integrated cigarette compartment. A distinctive feature is its rolling construction with steel-rimmed wheels, giving the design its characteristic appearance.
The example offered here has been professionally restored and technically serviced. Fully functional.
