This original bedside cabinet from the 1930s was manufactured by the Czechoslovak tubular steel furniture company Rudolf Vichr in Prague. The design combines the functional principles of Bauhaus Modernism with a construction of chrome-plated tubular steel and a lacquered wooden cabinet.
The bedside cabinet retains its original reseda green finish and a white Opaxit glass top, set within a surrounding tubular steel frame.
The piece is in well-preserved original condition.
