This monumental ceiling lamp from the 1930s is a striking example of interwar German Functionalism. Crafted from nickel-plated metal and featuring an integrated opal glass diffuser, the piece combines architectural clarity with sculptural presence.

Designed for large-scale interiors, the lamp offers a refined dual-lighting system: one circuit illuminates downward, the other softly uplights the ceiling – both can be activated separately or combined, depending on the desired atmosphere. This thoughtful configuration allows for ambient mood lighting, indirect architectural illumination, or full brilliance throughout the room.

Whether placed in a grand staircase, a lofty hall, or an expressive interior, this piece was made to define space with precision and presence.

The lamp is preserved in excellent original condition with a fine patina and has been professionally rewired for modern use.
