This round tubular steel table was produced in Czechoslovakia during the 1930s and reflects the principles of Czechoslovak Functionalism.

This model is documented as model 1635 in a Hynek Gottwald sales catalogue from the 1930s. 

The original chocolate brown finish of the tabletop has been carefully reconstructed as part of a conservation-led restoration.

The characteristic tubular steel base is structurally reinforced by an overlapping tube arrangement at the foot. Its restrained construction combines structural stability with a clear, graphic language of form—typical of Czechoslovak Functionalism during the 1930s.
