This tubular steel sofa from the 1930s reflects the clear design principles of Classical Modernism. Its reduced construction, generous proportions and clean lines create a calm architectural presence that remains remarkably relevant today.
The sofa was professionally restored around ten years ago and is now offered in very good used condition. Since then, the chestnut brown leather has acquired the subtle signs of everyday use that give well-made furniture its authentic character. As a result, it also represents a more affordable alternative to our freshly restored examples.
With an overall width of 190 cm, the sofa offers generous seating comfort. With the loose back cushions removed, it also works beautifully as a daybed or guest bed, providing a spacious sleeping surface across almost its full width.
