Mart Stam B43F cantilever chairs by R.Slezák – reseda green – 1930s

This pair of original B43F cantilever chairs, based on a design by Mart Stam, was manufactured by Slezák during the 1930s. Both chairs retain the original maker’s stamp as well as their original reseda green finish.

Their chrome-plated tubular steel frames and shaped wooden elements represent the functional design language of the Bauhaus and Classical Modernism. The characteristic armrests distinguish the B43F version as a particularly comfortable variation of the well-known cantilever chair.

A special feature of this pair is its authentic condition. The original painted surfaces display decades of honest wear, reflecting the chairs’ history while preserving the clarity of the design. The chrome-plated tubular steel frames remain in well-preserved original condition.
