These exceptional tubular steel armchairs combine the clear functionality of German Modernism with the flowing, dynamic lines of American Streamline Moderne from the early 1950s. Originally designed in the 1940s and produced by a small furniture manufacturer in Nuremberg, they reflect the spirit of the early post-war era – a time when traditional imperial modernism merged with the fresh optimism of American design.

The chrome-plated tubular steel frame, the elegant original green faux leather upholstery, and the Bakelite armrests give the design its distinctive character. With their well-defined forms and ergonomic comfort, these chairs serve both as collector’s items and stylish everyday furniture.

The set of chairs is in excellent original condition and was previously part of the reception area of a metal manufactory in Solingen, Germany.
In addition to the chairs, we also have a matching looped-leg table and a small stool from the same provenance.
