Avantgarde cantilever armchair – 1930s

This tubular steel cantilever armchair from the 1930s comes from France. Its chrome-plated tubular steel frame forms a continuous, clearly defined structure, with the seat and backrest appearing almost suspended within it.

The armchair has been professionally restored and fully reupholstered. We selected a finely textured dark grey fabric that quietly complements the restrained lines of the design. Black piping accentuates the clean contours of the upholstery.

A distinctive example of Classical Modernism, combining balanced proportions with excellent seating comfort.
