Halabala H269 art deco streamline armchair – high gloss black and luxury fabric

Avant-garde armchair Model H269 designed by Jindřich Halabala, manufactured under license by the Prague-based company Modernists

The streamlined armchair Model H269 we offer comes from a licensed new production by the Prague company Modernista. The armchair was manufactured using 1930s technology and newly upholstered and covered with luxury fabric by Romo.

The craftsmanship was executed at the highest level.

Jindřich Halabala was one of the leading furniture designers of Czechoslovak modernism.

Exhibits of his work were recently showcased in the exhibition “Hej Rup! The Czech Avant-garde.”
