Thonet K411 cantilever armchair – Bauhaus 1930s – red fabric

The Thonet K411 brings the comfort of a club chair to the light, open form of a cantilever chair. Developed around 1932, it is an early example of modern tubular steel furniture. Its curved frame and upholstered seat show how seamlessly form and function come together.

We have restored this chair and upholstered it in red fabric. We also have a small number of original K411 frames from the 1930s, which can be restored to order in a choice of materials and colours. We would be happy to discuss the possibilities with you. A matching stool is also available.
