This original K411 club chair was developed by Thonet around 1932 and is one of the earliest lounge chairs in tubular steel construction. It combines the comfort of a club chair with the functional clarity of early Bauhaus modernism.
The piece has been professionally restored. The seat was rebuilt with traditional coil-spring upholstery and covered in premium Italian leather in a soft cream tone. The curved wooden armrests were carefully refinished in matte black, preserving the natural grain beneath.
The open tubular frame gives the chair a light, airy presence – visually reduced, yet physically substantial. Excellent comfort makes it suitable for reading corners, waiting areas or therapy rooms.
A matching footstool is available upon request.
We also hold a small inventory of unrestored original frames from the 1930s. Upon request, we offer custom rebuilding with individual material and color combinations. We’re happy to advise on styling and finish.
