Cantilever Armchair “Famos 21” in Bauhaus Style

The “Famos 21” cantilever armchair, crafted by the renowned Czechoslovak company Mücke-Melder, is a prime example of Bauhaus design from the 1930s. Its elegant, streamlined frame of chrome-plated tubular steel and ergonomically shaped upholstery combine functionality with timeless aesthetics. In the 1930s, the “Famos 21” was designed as a response to the famous Thonet club chair series, including the K 411 model (now known as the S 411).
